SME Capacity Building

Small and Medium-scale enterprises (SME) are the backbone of most economies, driving economic development, job creation, environmental sustainability, and poverty reduction. This, according to the World Bank, makes SME development a foremost priority for many governments around the world.

There is an enormous need for creative new approaches to assisting small and medium businesses in countries. The objective of the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Capacity Building is to assist the Government in its efforts to reduce the cost of doing business, diversify the target regions receiving foreign investment and enhance opportunities of small and medium enterprise to access procurement.

Development Objective

The project’s overall objective is to improve the performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and the transparency and efficiency of public sector governance. We work towards supporting policies and programme that promote integration and the management of diversity by providing the platform to connect young entrepreneurs SMEs, and innovative initiatives and ideas with knowledge sharing resources for Africa development.
